Although our client relationships are largely centred around the provision of trusted advisory, capital raising, M&A, and project finance services to propel their businesses and aspirations forward, our merchant banking group enables us to strengthen those bonds by investing along side them when conditions merit, fully aligning our mutual interests, and seeing to it that our clients’ success is truly our own.

Our investment style is characterised by prudence, discretion, nimbleness, intelligence, and structural flexibility, and we prefer to deploy our capital in mid- to long-term debt, equity, and hybrid positions tailored to the broader needs and growth strategy of an enterprise, rather than to arbitrary investment criteria.
Often our investments are made in participation with larger financial investors, typically through bespoke vehicles structured, originated, and managed by us. In certain cases in which we can add significant value, we provide active management of individual positions, deploying our extensive capabilities, resources, and industry experience to supplement those of the companies and management teams in which we invest.
